Students have now been entered, so if you were in this course in Banner as of Monday morning, Jan. 14, 2008, then you should be able to log in. If you added later, then email me (kdunkelberg@as.muw.edu) so that I can add your name to this course. Or if you have problems logging on and you should be in the course, email me, too.
This course will be offered Spring Semester 2007. In format, it will be much like EN 231 Survey of World Literature I. However, this class covers the 18th through the 20th centuries. The readings and textbook will be different. Look back here for more information as the spring semester approaches.
The three volumes of the textbook have been ordered together, which should give you the best price. I've noted the list price, the price at Amazon.com, and at Barnes and Noble. You'll see that I've linked directly to these online bookstores so you can verify prices. There are other online booksellers that may cost even less. By listing these booksellers, I do not intend to endorse them over other bookstores or the Bookend. As always when shopping, you must weigh convenience in purchasing and returning books, shipping costs, and the reputation of the vendor to determine what is the best deal for you. For many students the ability to buy books using financial aid vouchers, to return books from the classes they drop, and to buy books locally outweighs the savings they could have from buying books online. If you want to order from an online bookseller, you may be able to find a used copy or a better price on the new book, but you should order early, since we will begin reading during the first week of class.
